They aren't going to rework Frost now that the Biting Frost augment exists. Augments are my least explored aspect of this game, besides rivens.

One thing I would like to see happen if this is the way Frost is going forward is for his 1 & 4 to be able to effect Acolytes, Disruption bosses, Lichens, thralls & hounds etc, but have it run for a half duration. Those two alone go a long way towards his potency, but add in the Biting Frost augment and he's a force to be reckoned with in end-game missions like Steel Path, Arbitrations and Archon Hunts.
WebFrost is a very easy way to deal with even SP enemies, avalanche needs the least strength to fully strip armor permanently, with just 139% strength and Corrosive Projection.
