Founded in 2001, CDR was created in response to the overwhelming number of dachshunds desperately needing to be rescued. WebThat is mainly determined by their size. Dachshunds come in two basic sizes: standard and miniature. Both types are typically less than 9-inches tall with the distinction depending more on their weight than height. Standard Dachshunds weigh 16-32 pounds. Miniatures weigh in at 12 pounds and under.
