I agree with the ice!! Don’t use heat, mastitis is actually the swelling of the breast tissue, so cold helps the swelling go down which in turn will help with any clogs. Keep nursing as you normally would but don’t do anything extra to empty - you’ll just make more milk which will make it worse in the long run.
