To avoid this, have minimally a cistern/hole that is filled with water at least 2 z-levels thick. The top layer amount doesn't matter, just as long as there are at least 2 layers. Logged WebThe water itself isn't muddy, just the floor, which is normal for floors that get wet. Water running on muddy floors won't get muddy. One thing you do have to watch for though is trees growing in those muddy tiles, blocking the water. You said you used a pump to filter it. This is only necessary when dealing with salt water.
