WebJun 20, 2013 · There is fuel dilution with the 3.5l but it has not shown to be causing high wear metals. This engine is still new so there not too much data yet. I've run uoa on all my oil changes on my ecoboost. There wouldn't be much benefit to running a 40w but I also have the itch to try M1 0w40.
