If you put carnuba wax on a rosewood board, you will most likely regret it, as the wax will dry white and super hard in the pores of the wood. I recommend you DONT use carnuba, unless you're ok with freckles on your fretboard.

You'd be just fine using mineral oil as well, I use Howard's lemon oil as it's mineral oil based from what I can tell.
