I like the sound of the 802's. Seems kind of pricey though for what you said they'll cost. I'd think a used set of 2002's might go for that much, but not an 802. They do sound better than the B8's you have. Paiste's lower line cymbals sound good to me, I like the Alpha's too. My nephew has a set of 14" 802's (set up at my house).
